repository for the occasional perambulatory rumination

on a recent pocketbook-shopping expedition, i pondered this one, liking it for its color, its flexible sides, its roomy interior, its silver grommets, its various pockets and compartments. i liked the way it is always open and ready to take in more.

then i spotted this one, liking it for its color, its compact size, its stiffer sides, its various zippered compartments. though i actually preferred the first one, i bought this little beauty because it has a latch and just enough room to carry what i need and nothing more. the size forcing me to give careful consideration to what i might need. the more definitive sides saving me from myself, not allowing me to carry around other people’s stuff.

I really love the look of the second one though I would probably find more use and overall compatibility with the first one. Nice to have both to choose between. Boundaries. Open-ness with a willing ability to take in more. Sometimes that makes me want to scream and shut the door but more usually it’s the ongoing way of life. Going to look at my various pocketbooks and decide what they say about me …

Heaven to me would be a pair of shoes and a purse to go with ever outfit. LOL. Love the little pocket book.
